Wellbeing since 1950.

L’Rustici Farm is born at late 1950s comprising 10 hectares of grandfather Giuseppe's estate located in the Maremma Grossetana. Azienda Rustici has always lived off agriculture and livestock farming, managed by the head of the family, Giovanni, who over the years expanded it with an additional 14.5 hectares of hilly land. At the end of the 70s, the first selected Holstein Friesian dairy cows were introduced, sourced from the best Italian farms. These cows have always been cared for using innovative breeding techniques that respect animal welfare and their diet, thus commencing the production of drinking milk.

The sons, Giuseppe and Andrea, thanks to the preparation gained during their studies and the practical experience acquired by staying on several farms in Lombardy and America, began to actively collaborate with their father from the mid-1980s onwards. Their love for animals and the living environment that the Tuscan Maremma offers also grew ever stronger in them. In the 1990s, the decision was made to build a new stable in compliance with the most modern health and technological requirements, as well as a further expansion of land availability.

In 1996, the Company began the direct sale of beef via pre-ordered family packs. In the early 2000s, Giuseppe and Andrea took over the business from their father, integrating an additional 32 hectares of land. From this date, the company embarked on a path of organic farming, by making use of BIOAGRICERT certification, and is increasingly turning towards direct-to-consumer sales. In parallel, the vineyard and olive grove are planted, followed by the processing of milk into dairy products.

Guided tours and presentation evenings of our organic company products have been organised since 2007.
